Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, it was during her high school years where Tedra Wilson known as TT The Artist discovered her fearless approach to performance. A college-graduate from The Maryland Institute College Of Art (MICA) with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a concentration in video, she postponed pursuing a career in music to make education her number one priority.
While attending MICA in Baltimore, MD, TT The Artist became very involved within various community projects and student organizations within the Baltimore Community. Baltimore soon became her second home. Baltimore enabled her to test the waters and create a reputable name for herself within the local music scene. By the end of her junior year at MICA, she had successfully secured an internship at MTV Networks in New York, NY where she explored her interest in television production both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. After two years of living in New York, she returned to Baltimore to further pursue her passion in music. TT The Artist would go on to showcase her innovative style through live, artistic performances at performance venues throughout the Eastcoast.

As a multimedia artist, she caught the attention of executive producers of CW networks “Keepin It Real Tv,” and was selected to be a regular host on the television show. Tt’s experience in production behind the scenes also led her to co-produce a Baltimore based radio show “Off The Edge Radio.” As a rising talent, both internet media and press such as VICE, V magazine, The Baltimore Sun, Fader, Complex , Fact Magazine, Pitchfork, The Baltimore Citypaper and more have highlighted Tt’s work. Today, TT The Artist’s music can be heard in regular rotation on local and international radio. Following her collaboration with Diplo, pop icon Jennifer Lopez reached out to Diplo for her single “Booty” sampled from Diplo’s collaboration on the Dat A Freak record earning the self proclaimed Club Queen her first songwriter credits and a major artists album.
TT The Artist makes way to release new music and has been building up her buzz through the edm, hip hop and club music scenes. With 3 independent tours under her belt “…All Hail the Queen,” quotes the Baltimore Sun newspaper as they address her journey from a sheltered upbringing to holding the title as the new self Baltimore club Queen formally held by the late Dj K Swift. There are no limits to her vibrant, party-starting, cross between melodies and provocative raps. Eyes set on new horizons, TT The Artist plans to paint a new spectrum of colors to the music scene through her upcoming record label Club Queen Records, a label that focuses on exclusive music releases by women artists in hip hop, dance music and rnb genres.
