Eric Burdon and The Animals

Eric Burdon & The Animals was born out of the original line-up of influential blues-rock group The Animals, after Eric Burdon and drummer Barry Jenkins reformed the group and line-up in 1966. After another reunion as The Animals and another break up, Eric Burdon & The Animals have since continued to tour under the new group. Their hits include “San Franciscan Nights”, “Monterey” and “Sky Pilot”. Their sound has been described as heavier and more experimental than the previous group’s style.
