Sonny Stitt

Sonny Stitt was an American jazz saxophonist of the bebop/hard bop idiom and recorded over 100 albums. Stitt was renowned for his relentless touring and commitment to jazz and was named the “Lone Wolf” by jazz critic Dan Morgenstern. Stitt began recording in 1949 and released his last record in 1982, the year of his death.
