Sonny Rollins

Sonny Rollins is an American jazz tenor saxophonist, and a composer and arranger of repute. As a performer, Rollins has been proclaimed a “colossus of the saxophone”, having recorded with many of the great bop players such as Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk, and John Coltrane. His ability to improvise and construct melodies and tunes of astonishing ingenuity and beauty is particularly revered.
