Ronnie James Dio

Ronnie James Dio, born Ronald James Padavona on July 10, 1942, was an Italian American singer and songwriter who passed away on May 16, 2010. He fronted numerous groups, including Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio, and Heaven & Hell. Dio sold more than 47 million albums throughout his career, and in 2014, he posthumously received a Grammy for his songwriting work on “Last in Line.”
