Beverly Ross is an American songwriter and singer who has been composing since the 1950s and has had a long and fruitful career over the last sixty years. Ross’ most successful songs include “Lollipop” which reached #2 in the US Charts in 1958 sung by The Chordettes, “Candy Man” and “Judy’s Turn to Cry”. Famously sung by Elvis Presley “The Girl of My Best Friend” was Ross’ most successful hit in both the States and the UK.
