Specialist Music Investment Platform Round Hill Music Appoints Katie Kowinski as Chief of Investor Relations & Business Development

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Round Hill Music Royalty Partners LP (“Round Hill” or the “Company”), the pioneering private equity platform founded in 2010 that currently manages a c. US$900 million portfolio of music rights, has appointed Katie Kowinski to the newly created role of Chief of Investor Relations and Business Development. Katie will report directly to Round Hill Music CEO, Josh Gruss, and will be responsible for expanding Round Hill’s investor relationships and driving the firm’s capital raising efforts. She will be supported by Investor Relations Director, Kellie Kirschner.

Katie has more than 20 years of experience in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies across the private equity and investment management landscape, bringing a deep network of relationships across the institutional investor community. Katie joins Round Hill from Raven Capital Management, where she was responsible for capital markets and fundraising initiatives, which included music IP strategies. She has previously held IR roles at venture capital firm, Kairos Ventures, and global investment firm, Artisan Partners, among others.

The US$469 million sale of the Round Hill Music Royalty Fund portfolio in October 2023 marked a second successful exit opportunity for investors who had participated in Round Hill Fund I, originally launched in 2011.
