Wade Kirby

Wade Kirby is a #1 hit songwriter from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He kicked off his career in Nashville as an in-demand road musician, playing guitar for such legendary acts as Ray Price and Earl Thomas Conley. After moving to Nashville full-time in the 1980’s, Wade was encouraged by his dad, hit songwriter Dave Kirby (Is Anybody Goin’ To San Antone?), to focus more on songwriting.

Wade has since penned the No. 1 single for Blake Shelton “Doin’ What She Likes,” as well as the George Strait Certified Gold No. 1 single, “I Saw God Today.” He has also celebrated Top 10 singles from Parmalee and Easton Corbin, as well as cuts with Faith Hill, Darius Rucker, Jason Aldean, Billy Currington, Tyler Farr, and more.

Wade received a nomination for CMA Song of the Year for “I Saw God Today” and is a multi-BMI Country Award winner. He continues to write and live happily in Mt. Juliet, TN, with his wife Tammy.
